Thermofax Ltd have been busy over the last two years, putting into place new systems and equipment as part of their long term vision.
A well established Midlands company with its roots going back to the early 1970s, Thermofax has been at the forefront of new engineering, offering conversion solutions to customers materials and components that are in service right across the globe.
Managing director Mr Tom Bullock said: We have been future proofing our systems to allow us to maintain the direction we are going in, but also to give us the opportunity to widen the engineering sectors we do not currently service.
By continuing our positive investment, we can diversify even further than we already have. we already serve a wide range of sectors including power generation, petrochemical, marine, rail, automotive, oil and gas, renewables and nuclear.
However, the niche processes that we offer can also service the requirements of a number of new manufacturing advancements, and I believe the Midlands is an exceptional place to be right now for engineering.
Thermofax is a sub-contract heat treatment specialist, with some of the largest heat treatment equipment in the country.
With the flexibility of the plant, Thermofax has the capability to process items in varying shapes and sizes, from tiny, hair thin wire forms weighing a few grammes and millimetres in length, to solid pieces over eight metres long and up to 16 tonnes in weight.
Mr Bullock added: Thermofax as
a company is looking 20 to 30 years
ahead and how we can continue to service
the requirements of our customers
with the same focus and quality, and
we are very encouraged, given the new
manufacturing challenges we will all
need to meet.
